Majour accomplishment this week!

I mentioned this before but I need to mention it again with more detail! This week I am officially doing NON-MODIFIED PUSH-UPS! I can't believe it! I swear last week I was tiring easily with the modified ones and then *kabam* I decided to try non-modified ones and at first I did 7 - then modified - 6 - then modified - 4 - then modified. Today I did 12 - then modified - 9 - then modified - 5 - then modified (to exhaustion.) I think what has helped the most is my back and core being strengthened enough to support my body! I'm so proud! It's things like this that give me hope and make me feel uber powerful even when the scale isn't moving. :) :P

To those who are doing modified push-ups and don't *think* they can do non-modified ones - try it! Suck that belly in, squeeze your core muscles while you do them and you may surprise yourself!

    That's awesome! Way to go ! I had that rush when I ran a mile for the first time!:smile:

    thats awesome! keep it up! i do alot of push ups on tour and dumbell circuits. i tried a circuit this morning with 30;s and crap it was so hard. my heart rate always gets so high when i do those. im hoping i can feel the same as you next week!

    I love doing circuits with heavier free weights. You get your cardio and strength in with less time, boo ya. I don't know why - but I also love the pain/burn I feel as my muscles tire (that sounds twisted... lol.) Next week is yours to kick *kitten*, buddy!

    haha no! i love the feeling too! like im dragging my feet when im done! it feels great! ya i think you will lose more weight doing circuits with dumbells over running. ill nail it:). glad things are good for you
