Hey everyone! Just wondering if anyone has tried this product - Shakeology?! IF so, is it worth the $$? I am REALLY considering budgeting it in w/ my monthly finances, but want to see if it's a good thing to invest in? I'm sure it's worth a try :).

Thanks!!

Try to weed out the responses you get from beachbody coaches, as many, (not all, but many) of them will just try to "sale" it to you. There are many beachbody coaches on this site. I see some of them come out like vultures when anyone mentions anything about a BeachBody product. With that said, I have heard great things about shakeology, though I have never tried it myself. I just can't afford it. Not to say it isn't worth the money, it very well might be, but I can't afford it so I don't even bother.

Actually, if you really want to try it, find a beachbody coach on MFP and get them to send you a free sample. That's what I did.

First I am not a coach. I have been using the Chocolate Shakeology for 3 weeks and I have lost just under 5lbs with it. My enegery is great, My hair is softer, my skin has not broken out and I am close to the Time of the month oh and um the sex drive well it is more intense. LOL! For the first week, I was amazed with what I was flushing out of my system. They say it will help with digestion, but I never had a problem with it. Yes it is very expensive. I am going to try it for 3 months and then when my budget becomes tighter I will see how long I can continue with it. I look forward to my shakeology every day!

Sorry but beachbody coaches are way too pushy. They have to be because the products are expensive. However, I do like Shakeology. I only tried it for a few days but it was yummy and only 3g less protein than the protein shake I was using before.

Could you possibly use a bigger brush to paint us all with? I think you may have missed one or two of us :(

Yes, it is worth the money. My husband and I have been using Shakeology for a little over two months now. We have it for breakfast. I add fruit, vanilla almond milk, some ice cubes and the powder. It's delicious.. There are recipes that come with it too. Shakeology has helped my energy level and blood sugar. We highly recommend it.

I love Shakeology! I love my coach too, not pushy at all. In fact, very supportive.

I am a coach and I do look forward to my daily dose of shakeology! However, I can't say it has done wonders with my weight loss! It is a great meal replacement, but it doesn't offer me tons of energy like I hear many say! I do want to stress out that it does come with a 30 day money back gaurantee! So if you can try it out you might like it and if not well Beachbody customer service is very good and will return your money, I believe less shipping!

Sorry! It's just been my experience with a few of them. I plan on buying from my sister who became a coach just for the discount, lol.

I used it daily for a month (the easiest 10lbs I ever dropped!) and then signed up as a coach to continue to get it at a discount. Chocolate is my weakness, so this was a great solution for me... a yummy chocolate shake, which I can take on the go and it helps curb my sweet tooth. It has also lowered my husband's cholesterol and cleared his psoriasis. And I'll tell you I was skeptical at first, b/c I"m sort of a foodie but I was impressed by the ingredient list. I'll link it below for you.

I ordered my 1st bag a few weeks ago (after trying a sample from my awesome, non pushy coach) and LOVE it! Yes, it is expensive but I would say it is worth it.

A protein shake is a protein shake. I have used shakeology before and yes it serves it's purpose, but so does Jillian's protein from the biggest loser that you can buy at wal mart. I just compare the amount of calories and other nutritional content that you're taking in and try to stay along the same lines. I like to make a protein shake after a workout. They taste delicious and it replenishes your body. Right now I'm using Jillian's chocolate protein poweder....one scoop is 100 calories. I usually add half a banana and tablespoon of peanut butter. I experiment with it a little bit, but I don't get carried away because I try to keep it a low calorie drink. Shakeology is not a secret potion by any means.....it's comparable to many other things on the market. I would go with something more convenient and cheaper.

If all you want is a protein shake then Shakeology is probably overkill. But compare the ingredient list to anything else out there and do a little research on the benefits of those ingredients and I believe you'll find Shakeology doesn't compare to anything else on the market.
  • that stuff was gross. i drink jay robb egg white protein with unsweetened almond milk and my hair skin nails and my weight loss is just fine i take a vitamin as well. plus i keep way more money in my pocket for something else..
