I went to the gym around Noon...so I had a Fiber One Bar before the gym and when I got home a little while ago, I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (Using light whole wheat bread, low sugar jelly and natural peanut butter) and a glass of chocolate milk (skim milk and hersheys lite)...

Mmmm, the combo is just what I need after that workout!!! It really hits the spot!! MMMM!

Even on non-workout days, I will eat a small lunch between 12 and 1 and then around 3, I will have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's a great way to spread the food out and keep you blood sugar level.

I just buy the Skippy Natural. I love the taste of it. I just use 1 tbsp on the sandwich. MORE than enough!
  • Thanks Tam! It's on my grocery list

Your welcome! My goal is to make people unafraid of peanut butter! When eaten a tbsp at a time here and there..it's a great source of protein and good fat.

PB is great! I still eat about 2-3 tablespoons a day. I use Simply Jif. I use it for my bedtime snack--spread 1 tablespoon on a Low-Fat Graham Cracker--yummy!

Oh, and you gotta try Moo Magic--a lady at church gave me some. I saw her kid with it and asked about it. It's looks like a straw, and is like Nestle Quick but it's SUGAR-FREE! OH MY GOSH--IT IS SOOOOOOOO GOOD! I think it has like 15 cals, too. And no sodium!

She buys it at Wally World.

I've been using it in my soy milk.
