Ok so i made some noodles for my kids for dinner they are the Mr Noodles (like the ramen ones) i havent made them in forever!!! So i pick up the pack and start reading the back of the package.... for half a package its 190 calories 6.5 grams of fat and 900 mg of sodium!!!! holy crap i used to eat 2 packages in one sitting ... thats almost 800 calories 26 grams of fat and 3200 mg of sodium.....
so anyways i cooked them for the kids and when i added the seasoning i started gagging at the smell
i will never buy them again ... my kids shouldnt be eating that garbage!!!!(if it helps i threw some frozen mixed veggies in with it

My daughter had that at a friends house and loves it! I refuse to buy it because of the sodium...ridiculous is it not? She says I'm mean:grumble: , but you're right...it's insane! They'll have huge little fingers and toes later!:laugh:0

Why oh why are the things that are the worst are the things that taste the best. And SOOOO cheap. But good call. I can't keep them in the house because i definitely would eat them. I actually still love the way they taste. The only time we have them in the house (squiggly noodles the kids call them) is if the kids have been sick with the flu. Great way to restore their sodium and liquid intake. fortunately for me, when I have the flu, the grease in those things is the last thing in the world I want. You're a good mommy!0

I cook thin spaghetti or cappilini in low sodium chicken broth is de-lish-us!
Add some chicken or veggies and it is a meal.0
