new here - serious about weight loss

Hey all. Just joined MFP a few days ago and I'm pumped at how easy it is. My goal is 1.5 pounds per week until I hit 175ish and I'm already starting to see some progress. I recently joined the local gym and I'm starting a new beginner's routine on Monday that I picked up from the bodybuilding.com forums. For cardio, I'm planning on biking about 300 miles per month, but I may need to alter it as I see fit.

Anyway, feel free to add me if you wish. The more support the better. :)

PS - I have the perfect "before" pic. Now I just need to get to the "after" pic, lol.
