Hi,
I have been logging via my cell for 10 days now. Not sure where my weight is as the Wii would not let me check today, but last time I weighed I was down a pound in 4 days or so.
I have a major addiction to sugar...
I am trying to kick it!!
The soda was easy to give up.
Eating healthy is easy in the sense I like all fruits and veggies for the most part.
I eat mostly lean meats, chicken breast, salmon, shrimp, etc... I have lean beef that is organic as my sister raises it, but I do not eat it often.
I need to excersize more, but lack the motivation. The food side is fairly good, excersize. Real workouts even walking... I live in the country and cannot get myself out there walking as I thin my road is too busy and driving to where there is a sidewalk takes too much time.
I do work out with my Wii More Active 2 and just got Zumba.
Someone motivate me!!!
I have 4 kids, work part time out of the home and the rest at home on the computer or at my desk. I cannot get myself to justify even going and walking a simple 30 minutes! Other then when I am working and that is all I do is walk walk walk, but I am only out of the house once or twice a week.
If there is anyone in the St. Cloud area of MN PLEASE message me and get me going!

Well!!
Welcome to me!! So glad there are so many here welcoming me to MFP. The support is fantastic!
That makes it really hard to follow through. I sure hope others do not get the same as I...0 -
I'm sorry you feel that way. Your original post was at 1:06AM, not many people on the site at that time. But now that you posted such a warm and inviting follow-up, I'm sure the responses will flood in. You could have just as easily reposted it without the sarcastic and mean comment. This is a great site and full of people willing to support each other.0

Waterfallus,
Hmm,
You know I agree with Bizco, I’m sorry you feel that way. But you did post it late, people usually get off here around midnight. Also it was not so appealing of a letter, sorry but being honest.
People on this site are great and generally very friendly. But, they can only do so much to help you, support you. You have to do the hard work here!! These folks are fighting their own battles and share what works for them with everyone else. But in the end, it’s all up to you.
You’re the one that has to get out there and find a place to walk. You say you live out in the rural area, walk in the woods. It doesn’t have to be on a road. Most cell phones these days have GPS systems on the and there are apps out there (generally made for runners, but work just as well for walking) that will measure distances. Sometimes you have to get creative.
Good luck in your goals! I hope the best for you! Remember it’s all up to you!0 -
Stay focused on the dietry intake for now, once you start seeing and feeling the results of healthy eating, the exercise and motivation will follow. Thats the approach I'm taking, I'm focusing on one thing at a time.0
