Ran my first 5K race Saturday morning! Ran in 31:38.3, and was 116 out of 276--feel great about those stats!

    So what is your next goal?
    I'm currently doing C25K...day one injured myself, I have been off for the time the doc said, tomorrow I'm back at it no matter what. I hope to run my first 5K after completing it. I'm inspired :happy:

    I first started running in mid-January. I did the Couch to 5K training program.

    I'm sure that is. You'd only think I have asthma from the way I huff and puff. But you can do it, even if it does take you a bit longer to build up!

    Just signed up for a 4 miler next month, and planning a 8K in the fall.

    Congratulations! That is a goal of mine as well. Today was day 1 of Week 3 of the c25K program for me and my dog :)
    I struggled through the last run cycle. Thanks for being an inspiration!

    For those of you doing the C25K program, that is what I used as well, and had started that in mid-January. I remember huffing and puffing though the 1-minute runs, and cannot believe how far I have come--ran 5 miles on Monday! If I can do it, anyone can. Good luck!

    Impressive! I walked my first 5K. I would love to be able to actually run one. Not comfortable running,,,,,YET! Hopefully soon! Thanks for the inspiration!
