I am thankful for cupcake bakeries

I want cake! With the latest trend of cupcake bakeries, isn't it nice to be able to go and get a single serving without having to buy or bake an entire cake?
Long live cupcake shops!
Anyone else have anything they are thankful for as a help to their healthy lifestyle?

I am thankful for steam-in-bag veggies and grains. How I would cook barley or brown rice for an hour everyday, I don't know...so those are a genius invention!0

I agree. I am a working mother that has an hour drive home every night. The last thing I want to do is spend another hour chopping and cooking vegetables. The steamables are the best invention. Love them!!0 -
Thankful for a boyfriend who can eat just about anything he likes without gaining weight. It's hard to keep unhealthy food in the house long with him around!0

If you have time to make your own you can cut half the calories from the bakery ones. I make a batch and then individually wrap and freeze them. That way I can treat myself once and a while without having too much sugar, fat and sodium which can be hidden in Bakery goods. There are a ton of great low cal, low fat recipes out there on the web.0

I'll be careful, Zakku1. Luckily, I don't care for the frosting, but it is a special occasion where cake is called for. I'm just happy to have an option of a single serving without having to throw out an entire cake.
I haven't tried the steamable grains! I will though, because sometimes I cook brown rice for an hour and it still doesn't seem cooked.0 -
I am thankful for www.dedemed.com She taught me how to make all the foods that my husband and I love. Granted I still have to change it up a little and sub brown rice for white, and I do use about half the amount of oil that she does, but she teaches how to make authentic Lebanese food.0

I'm thankful for the ice pops I get from Aldi. I usually get a sugar craving after tea so as these are only 35 cals each, I get to satisfy that craving without blowing my whole day.0
