I'm Brenda Sinclair. 44 years old and struggled with ups and down with weight my entire life. Loving the site! It's most helpful. Looking for positive and supportive friends. I have a great job, fabulous husband and two amazing kids.

Quick question... why aren't calories added for strength training? Not that I need any extra calories, just curious!?

its hard to calculate for strength because of the weight and how hard you are lifting and all that but go to cardio and list it under strength training

If you want to add it to your calories, search for "strength training" in the cardio section. I think thing the other section is to help you keep track of how much you are lifting.
  • I'm "newish" on here. Have been using the site for about a month and LOVE it! I'd love to have some positive support so feel free to add me! I've lost about 9 pounds in the month I've been using this site. I've got my daughter on here too. I've struggled with weight my entire life. In the past 20 years I've lost 70, gained back 50, lost 50, gained back 60... you see where I'm going. My son and I joined a gym and purchased some sessions with a personal trainer several years ago. We both got extremely fit and felt great. He joined the Army just after graduation and his 18th birthday and was shipped to Afghanistan right out of Basic. He's now married and lives in Italy, where he's stationed. He's just around the corner from 20 years old. During his training and deployment I was so deppressed I put on 22 pouds. Now I want it off before they come home to visit in July. I'm almost half way there.
