Question about eating exercise calories

For the people who eat back half.. Is that in addition to your daily calorie goal?
My goal is 1500. I sometimes burn 800 cals in a day. Should I be eating 1500 + 400? Or is it ok to have 1200 + 400? I ask because sometimes I have a net around 700 and I notice my weightloss has slowed down.

I would stay with 1500 + 400, any lower you may face starvation mode0

Only if you know for sure that your burning 800 cals, if your not using a HRM with a chest strap that could be incorrect0 -
My goal is 1370 and if I burn a lot I at least eat half back. If I only burn a little like today I burned 300, I will only eat back enough to get me to at least 1200 net. Unless I am really hungry.0

I just make sure my net is 1200 or there abouts0
