Can you resist one?
When it's free?
Like, a whole tray in front of you, and many choices?

I...didn't.

That's a calorie-expensive indulgence.

Hence, the 1.5 hours worth of working out just to burn it off....

I don't even walk down that aisle in Costco and there should be a disclamer outside the store when they are banking them. The smell is amazing, but since no flour - they are off limits and I have learned to walk by  Begrudgingly walk by!

We don't have costco here and sounds like that is a good thing right now! i don't need any more temptations that is for sure. I live 2 blocks from one of the main roads in town and can walk to Dominoes pizza, taco bell, jack in the box, subway and quik trip. they are all next to each other right up the street. oh yea and another block and there is mcdonalds AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! It is a good thing my budget doesn't allow for all that  I am pretty good at passing them in the car so usually don't walk that way. Now the Quik Trip has a little deli with some really good looking sanwhiches I now pay for gas outside with a credit card no matter what yes, i am a mess  I am losing though and that is better than any of the fattening food. have a great day everyone:flowerforyou:

The job is great! I started another thread about accountability -- I'm trying really hard to stay on track for this 14 days shoot. Today is Day 3 of 14 and I'm trying to reach my goals every day! It's tough on the road but I'm optimistic!

    they are 600 calories each!

I just looked all of them up so here are the stats:

    Muffin.................................cals.....................fat.........................carbs..........................sodium
    Blueberry...........................610.....................32g........................71g..............................590mg
    poppyseed........................672.....................38.1g.....................75.2.............................652mg
    Chocolate.........................692......................38.1g.....................79.2g..........................591mg
    maple muffin....................920......................41g........................79g..............................unknown

these are the most popular sellers. If it were my choice I would have a candy bar, less calories, fat and sodium!

I don't even want to think about the Tim Horton's muffins and other yummy baked goods I've had in the past. Haven't had any since I started at MFP, but wow... are they hard to resist!!

WOW:noway: This certainly puts things in perspective.. Whenever I see the stats on food items nowadays it can make all difference if I go ahead or not...even something a bit healthier like say a Kashi bar....I'm a label reader and would still pick the one that would fit in with what I need for the day rather than just grab one and not read how much they vary. PROGRESS!! Glad you shared that...makes me realize even more how glad I am to be eating healthier...those stats are just plain scary... :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:
