starting the 4 week marker tomorrow

I am starting the 4 week marker tomorrow for working out 5x per week doing the elliptical machine for between 25-45 minutes. And guess what, I have not lost any weight in the past month, none. I have lost inches and am celebrating this, but why am I stuck? I have been on a 1200 calorie, initially eating back my exercise calories and for the past week not eating any exercise calories back. I have been over a couple of times, usually on the weekends, but one day?!?? How is that to put back a lb or two I took off during the week. I am getting burnt out on MFP, I enjoy my new love for exercise, my body looks wonderful from even 3 weeks ago, I guess I just want that damn number to go down, I still have 20lbs to be in a healthy bmi, and 30lbs to be at my goal weight. I am very discouraged and feel like burying my scale in the back yard and having a service for it. Just don't know what to do anymore, I have plenty of great support from my pals, and their numbers just keep going down...so why the heck can't mine?

What are you eating? Is your diary public? Are you eating enough protein and carb combo's? enough dairy? I am curious on looking at your diary just to see what your food looks like.....0

It is annoying when the scale doesn't move but at least you can see a difference. One day the weight will just start dropping. You may want to change your exercise routine. Your body is getting used to the elliptical now so trying something different, bike/spin, running, aerobics class will confuse your body. This may help.0

my diet is public, I am trying to eat clean but have been slacking lately but I am sticking to the 1200 at least around there for the last week0 -
I looked at your diary and you may need to add some protein to breakfast. I like cottage cheese and yogurt or egg beaters with turkey bacon. It looks like you have a lot of high carbs for breakfast....I don't see a lot of fruits and veggies on there either. A good, clean, balance diet with enough protein, carbs, fruits, veggies and diary is a good start. Maybe switch up some of your food for healthier choices and I bet you will see a move on the scale!
good luck!0 -
