Hey there!
I get the munchies real bad at 3 am or so in the morning when I am on my night shift at work. Last night I had a banana and a nice hot chocolate and filled me up well. I also like the Speciak K bars, they are pretty good as well. Any other recommendations?

Hello There
You know I use to work that hard shift to and around that time is when I use to get hungry too. What use to work for me was protein some people love the protein shakes not me. I preffer a spoonful of almond butter with a apple or just by it self. Some almonds but of course I use to snack every 3 hours. I read that protein is very filling. How about some simple veggie soup? I hope this help
Good Luck!0 -
I never tolerated night shifts very well, so my required snacks may not apply, but I had to have a complex carb of some kind. Even toast and peanut butter would do it. Granola bars, leftover spaghetti with multigrain pasta was a big favorite. Pita and hummus. I couldn't tolerate veggies or fruit- made me sick to my stomach.0

Carrots, celery, grapefruit, or almonds. I like bananas cause they're more filling!0

Fiber one bars, fruit, greek yogurt, string cheese, cheerios, sugar free pudding or jello0

Been rotatin day/night for 20 years, (and 3 months). I do almonds, nuts, fiber bars, bananas, but my favorite is cereal dry. Usually like fiber one, or cheerios. I need the carbs when I'm working nights. Find that veggies/fruits will give me upset stomach. okay during day, but bad bad bad at night.
Good question, person always needs fresh ideas.0 -
I work night shift so I run my "day" like a day shift person except it is backwards. I get up eat "breakfast" get ready to go to work. I eat about half of my daily intake during the night. If I don't eat enough I feel drained. Or I snack on whatever.....I just write it down of course. Popcorn, apples, oranges oatmeal, banana with peanut butter. On my nights off I have to exercise more so I can eat more because I try to keep the same schedule. Hope I was helpful.:flowerforyou:0
