Went out shopping with the wife today for some summer clothes. Needed to get a new pair of shorts so I was excited to see where I would be with the size. When I started my journey I would have worn a size 36 waist, possibly a size 38......I'd suck it in to stay at a 36.

I picked out a pair of 34 and a pair of 36. The 36 was WAY to big so that was a great feeling. I tried on the 34 and to my delight I was able to get my whole fist in the front of the waist and still had extra room! Went back out and got a size 32. They fit! I haven't been in a size 32 in 4 years.

You can see where I am at with my weight loss so far. I've kick started my weight loss again and am hoping to be down to 170 by the first week in June!! Hopefully I don't have to buy new shorts again after that.

Way to go Erik, can't wait for the day I can get into a 34. That's the smallest waist I've ever gotten into and that was with 25 pounds to lose to reach my goal. Do I dare dream of......32....OH HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Wearing my new shorts today! Now just time to get motivated to go to the gym once I am done cleaning out my closet and dressers. Thanks to the other for the words of support.

Badass man. I recently donned my first pair of 32-34s since sophomore year of college.

It was funny because I went to the store for some new jeans and the guy asked me what size. I presumed 33-32 would be about right and he said, "You've got to do 32-34."

That said, the most surprising thing about my weight loss is that I am a full size smaller shoe. Didn't think I had fat feet before, but apparently I hid some weight there too.

Really?! Wow, that's crazy. When I was at my highest I could have gotten an E for shoes instead of D. Didn't think of that being a cause of the weight although it does makes sense. Congrats on your new pants too!!
