Water and losing weight

I am the world's worst water drinker. I don't naturally have the urge to drink water. LOL. I hear all the time about water drinking, but I've never understood it's connection to weight loss. The only time I drink water is when I'm working out. Is this making my weight loss stall? What's the science behind it? Or is it a myth that water helps with weight loss? Any info would be great! Thanks!

I don't know...but I can't handle all the extra bathroom trips so I don't drink as much as I should. It would be good to see a solid medical article that shows the connection to weight loss.....0
