Yesterday I just started working out, counting cals & new to fitnesspal. After having my daughter about 2 yrs ago I basically had no motivation & was too busy taking care of her & not taking care of me. After a much needed girls night out this past wknd I voiced my body fustration & low motivation. My awesome friend encouraged me to step up & take care of myself. So I'm on a mission to lose 20 lbs & most importantly get fit & feel good about myself.

    Me too! I had a baby nearly 6 months ago and have not yet shed any weight. I joined today and am hoping to get motivated and focussed and to get the weight down again.
  • Hi There. Im in the same boat. Had my second son 2 and half years ago and cannot for the life of me shift that last stone. Have been doing MFP for 2 weeks and am determined to stay on track. Good luck with your weight loss.
  • You sound just like me. I have a 3 year old little girl and I am just now loosing the baby weight. Sad, I know, but better late than never right! :) I am down 18 lbs but have 10 more to go. Friend me if you like. :) Good luck in your journey!
  • Good for you! I'm glad your friend got you headed in the right direction. She could have just fell into the response of a lot of people and turned it into a negative and than got you down. Hat's off to your friend for being a true friend and cudo's to you for stepping up and making a difference! You can do it!!!
