Last May, I weighed in at 256 lbs and wore a size 20. To a friend, I'd say, I wish I could just be a size 10 and I'd be happy. I AM a size 10...but I'm not happy with my body. I still have more to get through, more to do... my new goal is a size 6. But I do feel pretty healthy.

Last May, when we took our kids to an amusement park, I was concerned I wouldn't fit into the roller coasters. I was embarrassed to get on one... and I worried they would tell me I couldn't ride. I stopped doing things I loved because of my weight.

Yesterday, we went to Holiday World. I had this HUGE length of seat belt that I'd pull tight against me on the coasters. But even better, my lap bar was down further than my 'skinny' husband... AND I wore my swimsuit (tankini) the whole time and felt confident in myself.

It was the best day I've had in a LONG time.

It feels good to feel good! I still have a lot of toning up to go and would like to lose 20 or 30 more lbs... but by golly, I think I've got it!!
