Is it just natural peanut butter? If so, I make sure to stir it up completely the first time I use it, and then just a quick stir before each use. Having it in the fridge makes it harder to do obviously but doing it well the first time should make it easier...in my experience any way.

Yes - just natural peanut butter. The oil is separated on the top so it needs to be stirred but underneath the oil it is so hard! I'm having a really tough time stirring it up.

I just sick a knife in there and make sure to scrap the bottom and just stir and stir. Like another said-stir each use. It makes it better if you continuously do it. I honestly don't know how people do the other stuff. They add oil and crap to the other stuff and that is all I can taste. I use to LOVE reese pb cups and now cannot stand them due to the fact that they taste like shortening to me.

Just dip your spoon in and take a spoonful. most of the oil will run off. This is the only kind of PB I eat now.

I do the knife thing too. Stick it all the way to the bottom edges, scoop around, bring the bottom stuff to mix with the top. But I do that every time I go in it. Skippy Natural used to be my daily staple, but since I've found Smucker's Natural, there is NO other in my pantry!

I use my hand held mixer and only put one of the "beaters" on and stick it all the way down in the peanut butter and turn on the very lowest setting - hold the jar TIGHT - and SLOWLY move the mixer up and down and all around so that the peanut butter gets mixed really well. Hope that helps!

P.S. If you do it this way - you will not have to keep stirring every time you take it out of the frigde! :-)

If you store it upside down you won't have to stir it..............
