Sedentary or Not?

So.... I am not sure if my settings are correct. I have profile on sedentary because usually Tuesday-Saturday I work basically a desk job. I probably sit 50% of the time, Stand 40% of the time and walk around 10% of the time. On some weekend nights, Wednesday afternoons and every Monday (for 12 hours) I babysit 6 kids! I tend to mess up a bit on Mondays. Babysitting this many kids is definitely not sedentary work, but should I have my goal set at 1200 everyday anyway? Some days I am just fine with the 1200 goal, but sometimes, even if I eat healthily and a good amount of protein, I am still exhausted and craving food after dinner.
What do you all think? Bump up my goal? I also walk on my lunch break often and I shop for house at least twice a week lol. No, seriously. :)
Help!

I would think in your weekly regimen that lightly active would be more appropriate. Just a thought...

    Nice calculator mentioned above.

You know, I've wondered this as well...
I've left mine at sedentary because I'm specifically tracking my calories burned via the cardio exercise listings, but I've been thinking about looking into whether or not my body IS burning extra calories or not... Based on my weight results, however; unless I'm going into starvation mode - I'm losing about what I'd expect at Sedentary + listing my exercise calories burned...

And look - Texas responded :flex: and - BarnyStinson - LOVE IT!

I think you should maybe allow yourself more calories based on busy moving lifestyle. Babysitting is full of exercise for 6 kids. I give you alot of credit in watching all those kids! Some days my 8 year old drives me nuts only 1 child. You want to advoid starvation mode not healthy! I hope this advice helps you!

Yeah bump it up. I actually sit at my desk about 7 of my 9 hours at work so I'm at the lowest setting. I wish my job required me to move around the building more.
