So I signed myself up for a mini triathlon at my local YMCA. It's 1/4 mile swim, 10 mile bike, and a 3 mile run all inside. I've done a triathlon before in college (1/4 mile swim, 12 mile bike?, 2 mile run) but everyone on the swim team had to do it and there was no real training for it.
So my question is...what's a good time to aim for in a 10 mile bike. I did 8 miles in 30 minutes today. I don't know if it makes a difference but it's inside on a machine. has anyone ever done a tri like this?
thanks
ps, i only have a month!

well you figure the top tier triathletes will be going 25+ mph the competitve but not top tier will be going 20-24mph and then you have everybody else. I think the trick for this though is to see where your at and just to improve.0
