    The most encouraging thing I can tell you is that it works.

    It's not magic. It's just consistency. Through a combination of monitoring what you eat and how you exercise, you gradually learn to refocus how you live, and you'll begin to see changes.

    I've lost about 20 pounds or so on MFP so far. To be honest, I hit a plateau the last 10 days, but the significant thing is that while my weight isn't moving down, I'm still encouraged to stick around, because healthy eating and exercise will result in a healthier lifestyle, which will (eventually!) include losing the weight I carry around.
