I am 5'10" and 168 lbs. I am slowly getting into shape with a bootcamp class 3 days a week except when I travel for work (which is often). I am 40 years old and not in good shape currently. When I travel I am doing the Jillian ripped in 30 but I think I need something more. My primary goal is to get in better shape and with that I know weight loss will come.
What workout DVD do you all suggest given the above?
Thanks!

If you like high intensity and feel comfortable jumping (although you can modify) I'd go with Insanity. GREAT cardio workouts every day and your body is resistance.0

I currently use Turbo Fire, love it and highly recommend it! It`s from Beachbody as well.0

Insanity is the most intense one, and requiers no equirpment. P90x requires equipment0

Hi,
I can tell you that i've tried p90x in the past and it is very difficult. They actually have you pass a fitness test first to see if you're capable of even starting the p90x. This doesn't mean you can't proceed and do it anyway, but you won't get the full benefit if you have to stop every 10 seconds. They actually recommend you start with "Slim in 6" if you need to get into better shape first. It's also a tough program, but a better challenge when starting out. I haven't done Insanity, but it's on my to do list once i've lost enough weight that i feel i can be competitive in it. Good Luck!0 -
Let's see.
Insanity is great for cadio enhancement. I went from a 9 minute mile to sub 7.
P90X is an all around fitness program that builds muscle and increases metabolism.
I've done both more than once. Let me put it this way.
When I want to lean out...I do Insanity (you will lose muscle)
When I want to tone or build more muscle I do P90X. (keep in mind that women can't build big bulky muscles like me...without drugs)0
