....I knew you'd open this thread with THAT title!!!

Anyways, I'm just so proud I had to share!

DH had a coupon - BOGO for DQ Medium Blizzards - normally, if we go I'll get a mini or a small cone, but a MEDIUM??? Now let me tell you that I am the former fat girl that would eat a large blizzard without thinking twice about what I was doing to myself.

So, there I am, staring at this MEDIUM German Chocolate Brownie Blizzard and I just know that if I sit down with the whole thing - I WILL MINDLESSLY DEVOUR IT! So, I ponder - "How can I have this and not sabotage myself?" (in the past, the response would have been "oh, what the hell? It's your first day back OP, it wont hurt!") Truth is, it will hurt...

So I decided to treat myself over the next 4-5 days with this bad boy! I scooped just enough into a small 20 cal cone and went to town! Best part? I get to do it tomorrow, and the next day, and next day, AND the next day!!!

*Pats self on back* Eat your heart out, Cellulite!

Good for you, realizing that you don't have to eat it all at once, and that you can have a bit every day.

I absolutely love this! I am doing it tonight with a pint of Ben and Jerry's I just got. Did I mention I love chocolate ice cream?

Wow, I have much respect for you! I definitely have never had the willpower to do that. At the moment, I just force myself to order the "Mini" blizzards whenever a Dairy Queen craving hits, or else I'm doooomed.

Awesome job. You did a great thing for yourself and your body. I had something similar happen two days ago. I threw away a Wendy's frosty. I had maybe 1/4 cup of it and I was satisfied so I threw out the rest. My husband's jaw almost hit the floor when he saw that!

I wouldn't have the self control to do that either, I would have to only buy the smaller ones or share it! And as for that frosty, lol my bf would have dropped his jaw as well because he would have eaten it for me!

Great for you! My office buys everyone treats at Dairy Queen every Friday afternoon and I can never pass up a blizzard, so I do the same thing. Although I never thought to put it in a cone. Everything is better in a cone!

I offered it to my husband first but he said no. He's not a sweets guy. It's funny, too, because he almost made me feel guilty about it. He was like "bring it with you. Maybe you'll want it later." And I thought about it for a second and realized that that is stupid. If I don't want it now I shouldn't save it because I might want it later. I am trying to lose weight after all.
