GPS for bikers?

Hey there's all kinds of gps and timing things for running, is there one for cycling? I was just thinking that I could use one of the run ones but then what if I decide to use it for the runs? I don't want it thinking I'm going from a 14 mph to a 6 or something. You know how some of them yell at you? Well anyway....
What does everyone know that I don't ???? I mean gps app wise

Using Endomondo you can set which activity you are doing each time you use it from lots of different activities.0

On Android, I use CardioTrainer, which handles lots of exercises including running and cycling. Another one is RunKeeper, which I haven't played with much.0

I use a garmin forerunner 305 with a bike mount. It has settings for bicycling. It is $115, but comes with a heart rate monitor and it works really well.
I have also used an app on my droid phone as a test and it worked just as well. If you have one let me know and I'll look up the name for you.0 -
If you have a smartphone just search for apps and you should find lots of choices. I use Walktastic on my iPhone and I love it - you can do any kind of exercise with it (seriously, golfing, surfing, you name it). I paid for the pro version but it's worth it.0

If you have an iphone or Android then you can download the "imapmyride" app and use that!0

I like runkeeper, available on android and iOS0

I use log your run on my iphone. Seriously looking to purchase a HRM and attachment to make my phone an all in one. Wahoo Fitness sells bundled packages with sensors and stuff. Good luck!0

I also use runkeeper, (available on android and iOS) which, despite the name can do all different activities. I like that you can import/export the gps files to runkeeper. So if I go on a walk with a friend, we only have to log on one phone, and just import the data.0

Plus one for Runkeeper. Thank you jen for pointing me towards that app. You can choose your activity type be it running/walking/or cycling.0
