Runner's High

For only the second time in my life, last night I experienced runner's high.
I was moving fast (for me). I was beating both the hills and the heat. Sweat was pouring off my body. And I was on cloud nine.
I sure wish every run could be like that.

Running can be the best or the worst feeling in the world! I have runs where I feel like I could go on forever, and I love to feel my body working the way it should. Like someone is pushing me along from behind. Other runs I can barely drag my feet along!0

The Runner's High is definitely a sweet feeling! I never know when I am gonna have it, but when I do, I wish it could last forever. I won't say it is a primary motivator for me to run, because as noted, we don't always feel it, but wow, what a wonderful added benefit when it does happen.0
