activity level based on my job?

Hey guys, I'm sure this has been asked about 1000+ times, but I'm having trouble working out what I should set my activity level to. I actually found in the last two weeks I lost MORE the week that I slightly overate (average of 65 cal over goal daily, compared to average of 90under daily the week before) so I'm thinking I'm actually far under-estimating.

I'm happy to leave things as they are for now, but as I'm hitting maintenance soon and want to start doing more solid weight training at the gym, I don't want to leave myself undereating and exhausted.

I work in a petstore. I get about 7 hrs sleep a night, once I'm up I'm making breakfast, packing lunch, etc. 25 min drive to work, and once I'm at work minus MAYBE 30 minutes out of an 8-9 hr days, I'm on my feet and moving (I get two 10 min breaks, I only sit for 5 of each and on my 30 min lunch I go for a walk for at least 10 minutes of it).

Job in the store is aquarium section, so I'm constantly walking up and down, going up and down the ladder, catching fish, cleaning glass tank fronts, scrubbing algae out of tanks, etc etc. Almost never standing perfectly still in one spot unless I'm ringing up people at the front counter.

Would you could this as:
Lightly Active: Spend a good part of the day on your feet (e.g. nurse, salesman)
or
Active: Spend a good part of the day doing some physical activity (e.g. waitress, mailman)

Thanks guys!

I would set it as active. Sounds like your pretty active for the whole day!

I'd say you'd fall into the active category. Your job duties would be comparable to the "Waitress/Mailman" category and likely a bit more.
