I have my 1-2 glasses every night, I refuse to give it up! I'll give up the carb/calorie laden beer, but NOT MY WINE!!! My mom lost 60lbs and she never gave it up either. Just log it and you should be fine.0

I still drink alcohol regularly. I have certainly cut back, but I haven't sworn it off by any means.
I think that you should be fine. Get those antioxidants!

Just account for the calories in your diary0

I agree you are fine as long as you log it and account for it in your daily calories.....I dont mind treating myself to a glass of wine or 20

If you include it in your daily calories there is no reason you shouldnt. If you start seeing a problem you could always cut back.0

Absolutely!! I'm certainly not giving up my white wine, and am still losing weight, so i don't think you need to give it up completely either. I don't drink it every night, once or twice a week for me. I just have a glass and that satisfies me! :drinker:0

be sure to log it and work around it
if i want a pint of magners, i'll have one, i just cut out the take away that used to come afterwards
you can eat whatever you want as long as you log it and stick within your goals
i know someone on here who eat very small portions of bad food, whilst someone else eats big portions of good food - they are both losing weight and both are happy - it's whatever works best for you )0 -
PHEW thank god for that LOL its the only thing i do to chill out at the weekend happy now !!0

You can still drink wine - count it like any other food. I stopped for a while and now have wine only for the special occassions where I really want a glass. I've found that I don't miss it and like to have extra food calories by not drinking alcohol. It's a choice.0

Everything in moderation. Alcohol can slow the metabolism but there certainly are health benefits to having a glass of wine with your meal daily. Not to mention helping with the stress of the day. :happy:0
