Skinny Butt Syndrome

So, I've lost about 47 pounds since November. Lately, my butt has been hurting A LOT. I sit at a desk all day for a living. While I try to get up and walk around at least every hour, I still have issues. I can't even sleep in certain positions because my butt hurts! lol. This happened to my grandma when she lost a bunch of weight, and it affected my mom for a while, too (she's on here and has lost 75 pounds).

I've added some cushioning (in the form of a folded blanket) to my work chair, and I will be purchasing a cushion for it. I really want a standing desk, but I have an old teacher's desk that can't be converted and we don't have money for a new desk.

Does anyone else have a similar issue? How do you deal with it?

@freerange, yes. It's just a natural process, happens to a lot of people. If you look at my picture, you can see how much less "padding" I have on my rear. It will take a while for me to get used to it. I can't tell you how much I love walking right now because I don't have to sit to do it!.
