Fitness and Achilles

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the site, but have been trying to lose weight since the beginning of this year. This site makes tracking diet and exercise so effortless; I think it might be my new favourite thing!
To make a long story short - I have an Achilles injury which has sustained over the last 5 months.
I know that cycling and swimming are recommended and I have been getting involved when there's not too much flare-up. My access to cycling and swimming is soon to be cut short, however, so I'm looking for some alternatives.
If anybody has any suggestions for home work-outs and specific swimming exercises I would love to hear them!
