i went on a hiking trip on sunday and ending up slipping on a wet log and tumbling head over heels for a short way down a hill. my back has been a little sore for the past couple days, nothing unbearable but its causing me some discomfort. should i go ahead with my regular workout and tough it up or should i take today off (i didn't work out yesterday either) and let my body rest and recover? i can't decide what i should do. today would be my day for my strength workout.

Could you maybe walk instead? If I hurt really bad because of something I usually try to take a walk. If you feel like you can manage the strength do it, but don't hurt yourself more. Glad you're o.k! :)

I would personalyl wait. I rather heal then injure more.

i had thought about taking a walk and seeing if that helped or hurt more. i think i may do that just so i'm not making excuses not to work out!
