How do I maintain the muscle I've gained?

The past two months I've been focusing on eating better and spending more quality time at the gym - and by that I mean - spending less time at the gym and lifting weights as opposed to spending an hour running in circles on the treadmill. I've actually built muscle! Very exciting! My question is how will I maintain this muscle? Will I just keep lifting the same weight over and over? Will I decrease my days in the gym? Will I need to increase or decrease calories??

I've found that I have to increase my weights once a month or so. If you can do a ton of reps at a certain weight and don't feel like you're really working to do it - it is time to increase the weight. This is how you maintain the muscle you've built.0
