I have already ate lunch and my boss has brought down a wonderful tart with berrys and custard in a pie shell. What a diet crasher. I didn't eat it but its really pretty. I tasted it and I could probably put it away but I won't.:flowerforyou:

Sending big prayers your way! That is horrible! Maybe you can picture it giving them all belly aches at work while you are happily plugging away. :flowerforyou:

    Way to go!

I'm finally finding that I can do what you did, have a taste and call it good ( or even wonderful!! ) enjoy the taste and walk that extra time up and down the stairs or whatever it takes. Personally, taking a taste is sometimes just all I need.....but not always!

Hmm, berries are healthy...scrape em off and enjoy....teehee

Yeah, I dropped off something at one of our other offices today and everyone there was enjoying full Hershey's candy bars. They were all melty and gooey and they kept trying to give me one! I came home and went straight for one dark chocolate hershey kiss (22 cal) and sucked on that for awhile... feeling pretty good about myself right now. Plus, the dark chocolate is delicious.

So I hear you - work is the biggest challenge always. They can't just accept that I turn down a chocolate bar, they have to ask why. To people who know me and know I'm just 'eating right' I'm not ashamed, but when people at work go "Ooh, you're on a DIET. Well you can bend the rules just this once right? Don't be so hard on yourself!" I want to scream. :explode: I'm not deprived I'm just not choosing to stuff my face with hershey's!

  •   Guess what??? I work in a BAKERY!!! Talk about temptation!!! But if you've set your mind to accomplishing this goal- then nothing can defeat you. Yea, occasionally I will have a small taste of something new, but ti's rare. And now that I'm seeing results from eating right and exercising, the sweets just aren't that appealing anymore. Good luck and congrats on not giving in!

Ouch! :noway: A bakery - my husband's weakness is the baked goods! He keeps trying to suck me in, but I'm with you - they just aren't that appealing anymore.
