how do you decide what 'lifestyle' to pick?

I'm a stay at home mom so I feel like I sit around a lot (story time, teaching (I homeschool), nursing the baby, folding laundry (although started doing that standing) or at the very least just standing there a lot (dishes, laundry, cooking, etc)...So I feel like I'm sedentary...
But on nice days (generally 3-4 times a week is the goal) we go on a long walk to the park (roughly a mile away, one way) or a walk to the bike trail or up town or whatever. And I will either push the baby in the stroller or wear him...but at the park I do not do much except for trail around the baby making sure he does not commit baby-cide (lol)...with the baby I'm 'Helicopter Mom' not the 'sit on the bench and play with my cell phone mom' LOL
Soooo..what would you say???
Cleaning, cooking, long walks, playing with kids...lightly active? Sedentary? Since some of it is just standing there hanging out doing whatever?

I think I'd pick sedentary, but then be sure to add all your walks and stuff to your exercise tracker! but this has confused me too... it's basically just a guess0

I was a stay at home mom for 10 yrs. I would have considered myself lightly active. I wouldn't log the stuff you do everyday (like house cleaning) because our bodies get used to doing it all the time and it isn't really a workout anymore. It is just another thing we do. I would, however, log long walks and any intense house cleaning (like scrubbing floors or cleaning the bathtub) you don't do on a regular basis.0

Yep, I pick sedentary to be on the safe side and then add in the exercise in the exercise log. The thing is... this is all stuff you/me/we do on a daily basis and our bodies expect us to do. An active lifestyle, I consider, would be a trainer at a gym that is teaching classes all day...0
