This morning i tottaly had no get up and go...AT ALL!!

I did my warm up & weight training and struggled with it, then hit the cross trainer. I had to really really really push myself after less than a minute, was going to stop at 1.30 but pushed on.

I then had to stop after the cross traininer, i couldnt even look at the tredmill or upper body bike and hit the showers.

Ive been beating myself up about it since, telling myself its just an off day.

Been gyming it every morning no probs for about 2 months now, with weekly program changes with the instructor and monday and tuesday was fine! did 488 cals on monday and 503 on tuesday plus 30 day shred in the evenings adding about 300 the the gym burned cals.

Anyone else had this little glitch?

Yep. I chalk it up to my body telling me that it needs a day off. I tend ot over exercise myself and every now and then I have a day like that, so I just take it easy or if its really bad, I just end up going home.

Yup, happens to the best of us. Just take the day off and you'll be back hitting it hard again tomorrow.

I've had days that I 'phone in' my workout, meaning I do it but not at 100% closer to 25%. I still do it, keep moving through and know the next time will be better. I go to the gym 5 days a week and do 2 workouts a day 3X a week (an early morning class then coming back for cardio later). If I'm too wiped out I will take it easy or just not go in for the day. Sometimes you just need a rest day. Shake it off, it will work itself out.

I had one of those days today too. If it hadn't been for my appointment with my trainer I would probably have stayed in bed all day. Monday was a funky day for me too but it turns out that I am diseased (sore throat and lots of snot....so still safe for a workout) so that would explain why I had such a tough time with Monday's workout.

As much as I hate a terrible workout while it is happening, and I must admit that I have a tough time ever feeling good about those, I try to remind myself that the good workouts will feel much better when I have a crummy workout to compare them to.

Tomorrow will be a new chance to nail your workout with a smile on your face!
