My 1st goal! And pizza Wednesday's!

Today I weighed in at 164.4lbs! My first mini goal was to be 164 by the end of May. I did not enter my weight into MFP yet because A) tomorrow or Friday is my actual weigh-in day and I want to see that number show up on the scale at least one more time so I know it is for real. The reason being is....I have tried and tried to lose weight on numerous occasions and I have always failed...and I usually set mini goals and I have always failed to meet them. Which means this would be my first mini goal met EVER and hopefully the first in a line of many! So even though I am not officially "weighing-in" yet I am still very excited and celebrating this mini victory!
On another note...every Wednesday at my job is pizza Wednesday and my boss buys us all pizza for lunch. I love pizza Wednesday because it means I don't have to think about/pack a lunch for the day...just some snacks..which usually consist of a fruit/veggie/protein. This morning, when I remembered it was pizza Wednesday I was very excited...my younger brother said "isn't pizza Wed going to ruin your diet" and I responded "I would not want to be part of any diet that does not include pizza Wed!" Basically....as we all know...this is a lifestyle change, not a diet and sometimes life include pizza Wednesdays! I feel like MFP allows me to have my cake and eat it to in a way. I want to thank everyone on this site for all of your support and help. For the first time in a long time I feel like I am finally getting it!

You have the absolute right attitude! Depriving yourself and cutting things out totally only lead to failure, at least in my case. Moderation is key in everything. Congrats on your mini goal!!! Keep it up!!0

That is so awesome! I know all about pizza days and bosses buying lunch. What I would recomend is just eat less. If you usually eat 4 slices like I do, then just eat 1-2 depending on the size of them. Then schedule your biggest workout day for Wednesdays!

You'll get to 164 or even less at the end of May...Just watch your CARB intake after lunches...Drink plenty of water & exercise - even push yourself harder on the workouts...

wow, you really have a FAB attitude, it's posts like this that make me realise that ANYTHING can be achieved! Well done you!!! I like the odd treat and it mostly occurs on the weekends but last weekend was the first one which i logged and completed! i hope i manage again this weekend!
