I am on a low carb diet and I am having trouble balancing my calorie goals and carbs goals.

I am trying to eat 60g or less of carbs per day and my calorie allowance is 1200 per day. Does anyone have any tips on how to get more calories in my diet without adding too many carbs?

My boyfriend has suggested that I drink Whey Protein shakes 2x's per day. Thoughts?

Incorporate good fats. Almonds, Avocados, Plain Greek Yogurt

healthy fats like codex mentioned, plus meat, LOTS of veggies, and some fruit. I'm also on a LC lifestyle, and my diary is public if you'd like to reference it.

It would be good to probably add a couple of protein shakes in with meals or snacks.

they're also loaded with sugar & chemicals. Personally, I don't approve. There are better, more natural, WHOLE FOOD options. JMO.
