NSV: a random co-worker compliment (or two)

I've been focusing on improving my eating and exercising habits since I joined MFP in March, sticking fairly close to my calorie goals during the week (although I admit I tend to go over a bit) and waking up early to exercise three days per week before my son wakes up. The weight loss has been fairly slow-going, with only four pounds lost so far, and most of that was lost in the first few weeks. I have been noticing that my clothes have felt less snug lately, but the scale hasn't been moving. At my last weigh-in yesterday, I weighed the EXACT SAME as I did at the beginning of the month. So frustrating; I really want to update my weight log, but that just hasn't been happening.

BUT yesterday two co-workers commented that I was looking slimmer and asked if I had been working out. That felt great. So even though I haven't been losing weight as quickly as I had hoped to, it seems that my efforts haven't been completely fruitless!

If you aren't, be sure to use the measuring tape to track your waist, hips, thighs, etc. It sounds like you're losing inches, if not weight. Tracking it might help to keep you motivated and it's more important than the number on the scale, in my opinion.

I've been stuck at 22 lb weight loss (not complaining at all!!!). But started exercising more regularly. Two people in my office have commented about how good I'm looking. That is worth it to me even not seeing the scale move for about a month. I'm not giving up, I have about 40 more to go.
