Anyone want to start on 30 day shred with me? The month of June has 30 days, so it's a perfect month to get started!

    It is a DVD that is by Jillian Michaels. Great workout in only 20 minutes a day.

    I just started yesterday but I can hold off on moving to level 2 until you do!

    I am starting today! I just bought 3lb weights to use but they are in my boyfriends car who I'm not going to see until after I do the DVD but I am going to use something at home in please of it. Good Luck!

    Did you do it today then? I haven't done it yet. Just got home and got some dinner quick and i'm letting it settle. Don't need that while I doing jumping jacks!

    i plan on starting June 1st. Haven't brought the dvd yet. Comcast has level1 on demand for free but I'll still need the dvd for levels 2-3. Either way I'm in
  • :smile: I tyred it out 2day for the 1st time and am not sure my calorie burned or anything and please add me if u wanna do it together.. i feel like no i dont think ill b able to do it w out alot of help..

    I did start yesterday. I usually try to do at least 45 minutes of working out a day so since that was only a 20 minute workout..I also started the 'Couch to 5K' program and went for a run/walk. Needless to say my legs are killing me today between all the squating and running =)

    I did it once already...I'd love to do it again and see what the results are like the second time around! Friend me if you like :) I lost 11 lbs and two sizes the first time but I didn't take measurements...this time I definately wanna see what the inches say!

    I was not able to do it yesterday, due to power outage because of the storms. But we have power today so I will start today!!!!

    Only equipment needed is a mat if you are exercising on a hard surface and hand weights. FYI keep a water bottle near by too. You'll need it:bigsmile:

    Right up top...below the ads...under Message Boards...click on...Signature....and add whatever you like...then select Save Changes ...

    Good luck! I'm 8 days in to the 30 day shred and I'm seeing remarkable changes in my body... I've only lost 4lbs, but more amazingly I've lost a total of 16" off my body (3" off both waist and hips!).

    Jillian is evil, but I have come to embrace her evilness. When she says you are going to feel like dying just curse at her, grit your teeth and smile. And, the next morning when you think you are going to die just doing the warm up, push through it as once you've managed that first 3-2-1 circuit you will make it to the end of the 20 minutes.

    And, more importantly, have something to chant under your breath. For me, when the going gets tough, muttering "wedding dress" does it, so just pick something and go for it!

    I started at the beginning of May...
    I love it! It's awesome.

    I'm on level 2 now...going slow..and steady...I only missed a few days.....but I keep at it.
    I stayed on level 1 for 3 weeks...and just started level 2 on Monday...
    It's killer....ha.

    I'd love to follow along with you all...

    I just started this site 2 days ago. Would love to give this a try with everyone. My only question was how do you chart it under your exercise?

    I'm going to Walmart today to pick it up. And I'm going to try and get my sister-in-law to do it with me!

    I log mine under....Circuit training, general........
    You're gonna love it!.....and hate it!
