I own ripped in 30 and havent done it yet and netflix has 6week6pack, no more trouble zones, and shred it with weights... im not sure what to do... i want too do like 2 of the together but not sure what the best mix is. I have about 10-15 pounds too lose all over my body (mostly hips and thighs and belly pooch). Any suggestions? I really want to do this right and stay motivated.

Truth be told, I love to hate this woman and I complain about her DVD's but they are all really good. I really like 6 week 6 pack and am loving ripped in 30 (Well, love to hate) and no more trouble zones is tough but one of my favorites! A rotation of any of thes would be beneficial, if you stick with them!0 -
I have several Jillian Michaels DVDs, 30day does the whole bod, do that a for a couple of weeks and you'll notice a diference, then mix it up one day do one, then the following day a different one, you are probably best doing one each day rather than an hr solid as you'll get bored0

I think the 30 Day Shred is amazing. Jillian Michaels has many workout videos. I just have to love her, she is no nonsense and she kicks my butt!!!
And I know it sounds kooky, but I also think Carmen Electra's Strip to fit (the second video in series only!) is good. My cousin lost all of her weight and toned up by doing that workout. I have tried it and it felt great. Now that I am sticking to a regiment, I am going to try it again. Although, there's a chance that after doing Jillian's video, this might now be too easy for me. I'll have to see. lol
Hope this helped a little.0 -

Exercise TV has a lot of the JM DVDs free on Demand. The videos are shortened or just 1 part but if you want to try before you buy it's a good idea to check them out on Demand.0

I switch it up during the week. Here's an example of my usual workout week:
MONDAY: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism (55min)
TUESDAY: No More Trouble Zones (55min)
WEDNESDAY: REST DAY - usually go for a walk or something light to keep active
THURSDAY: Ripped in 30 (Level 2 - 30 min), 6 Week Six Pack (Level 2 - 30min)
FRIDAY: Yoga Meltdown (both workouts - each 30 minutes long)
SATURDAY: Ripped in 30 (Level 4 - 30 min), then either 6 Week Six Pack (Level 1 - 30min) or another Ripped in 30 workout.
I've moved this schedule to lighter then harder workouts, up and down, depending on how tired I am that day. If my muscles are still sore, I do one of her workouts that is effective but easier for me (like Yoga Meltdown or a Level 1-2 workout from 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30), but it's important to make sure you get lighter days and harder days throughout the week to cause muscle confusion. I got back into my size 3 jean shorts after having a baby using this schedule!!! JM rocks.
Be sure to check out her protein powder too! The vanilla makes great breakfast smoothies.
Good luck!0 -
I've been doing 30 Day Shred for 10 days and I plan on adding in her Burn Fat Boost Metabolism dvd a few days a week to supplement. Netflix has that one as well if you're interested, it's a lot of cardio so it will get your heart rate going and will really burn fat, which is what I need too at this point. After that, I'm going to focus on toning, so I'll use No More Trouble Zones, as that dvd incorporates a lot of exercises with weights. For now, I would recommend 30 Day Shred (also available on Netflix) along with Burn Fat Boost Metabolism. 30DS works your entire body, plus she uses handweights (3-5lb) so you get some resistance training as well. Good luck!!0
