I'm making whiskey tri tip for dinner and I'm wondering how I should input my food & marinate into my food log here on MFP.

I also made my own Prime Rib seasoning from here (left out the msg):

What's the best way to document everything?

I wonder that too! Most of the marinade always gets discarded when I cook. But for logging purposes, I've always counted all the calories of the marinade in my recipe. Maybe I shouldn't!0

I'd probably create recipes.0

Measure the amount of marinade you discard. and only input the amount absorbed by the meat/ veggies. You can always use quick adds too to just try to "guess" I usually round up for my quick adds though just to be on the safe side.0

I tend not to count the things I do not eat or cook the food in directly. I have added some rubs and seasonings because they tend to add sodium and things.....0
