Low Carb Woes

After a year and a half of healthy eating and exercise, the scale was stuck. At my doctors suggestion I've lowered my carbohydrate intake to 60 grams a day, but I have yet to come close to meeting my calorie goal AND stay at or under my carb goal! It's frustrating because I was eating so balanced before and I was so wary of doing this, but my doc assured me I'd be fine and it would help get me past this speed bump. Still, coming in 400- 700 calories under my goal each day just dosen't seem healthy or safe. But I'm not a Dr. either. Is it wrong to go against the doc's recommendation and just resolve to give up the heavy carb hitters like bread, rice, quoina, and cous cous?

Trying adding more chicken/lean beef/turkey bacon/eggs for protein and if you like Avacados they are a very healthy fat with enough calories to get you near to your goal. All of these foods are great for you with virtually no carbs and they are really yummy!
