1 1/2 cups sugar
1 small container (4-5oz) greek yogurt
1/4 cup Smart Balance Buttery sticks, softened
1/4 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 teaspoon NoSalt
1 package chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, yogurt, butter, shortening, vanilla and egg in a large bowl.Stir in remaining ingredients except for chocolate chips. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cooking sheet. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown (Kinda hard to tell, because of the wheat flour, but 12 minutes was about perfect in my oven). Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
With the ingredients I used they came out to about 117 calories a cookie. The texture is a little strange if you're not used to wheat flour, but they taste YUMMY!
