New to MFP -- looking for friends

Hello all, from California,
I found the app using my phone last week, and find it really helpful. On January 1, 2011, I weighed 252 pounds. I figured if I lose 1 pound a week, every week this year, then I would end the year at 200 pounds. Anyone want to check my math to make sure I got that right?
So, my goal for the past 5 months has been to lose weight through healthy eating and exercise. And so far, so good. I'm right on track, and have lost about 22 pounds. But I'd love to try building a social network using on-line media, to help keep me motivated these next 7 months to lose the remaining 30 pounds.
So anyone interested in send out a friend request, or check out my blog postings, and we can lose weight.

Congrats for what you've lost so far, that's really cool! This is definitely a great community to keep you going, so many friendly people with lots of heart. Keep up the great work, and keep at that goal, you're on the right track!0
