I eat strawberries every day on my oatmeal, this summer I have enjoyed them fresh from my plants. But the crop grows lean.... I'd like to get some at the Farmer's Market, but don't eat them fast enough for those big containers. Anybody know if they can be frozen , whole or pieces, without any suagary sauce?

Freeze them on a cookie sheet so they don't get as mushy and keep their shape when containered
  • I know Alton Brown did an episode of Good Eats where he froze strawberries. He used dry ice so they would freeze faster and not be so mushy! I absolutely heart him.
