Last night I went to Dr about reducing arms. He even said one of my arms looks deformed, it has fat cysts, gross!! Anyhow, he said he can cut straight across now, but I wouldnt be happy because I want to lose more weight. Suggested I lose another 40 or so pounds before I do it. So I decided to wait until I get to my goal, another 71#'s and will just have that done with a tummy tuck, one shot.
So I have some thing to look forward to next year for sure!!
BTW, he said it's much cheaper doing the two surgeries together.

That is something to look forward to! I've thought about doing my arms (genetics plus weight did NOT help me there), but I don't like the idea of the scar and cutting around there scares me a bit. I'm going to give myself a year or so of really concentrating on the area with weights before I decide. The tummy surgery, that is a must!

I know you'll make it...and it will be fantastic!

My arms are so bad that I dont care at all about the scar and the Dr. said the scar really isnt that bad. I personally don't care at all, it has to be 1000 times better then the arms I have now.

I agree with waiting till you lose more. REmember too that loose skin and fat deposits will come off in surgery so that will drop more. But I would wait and have it done then. That way you are done with that "baggage" for good.

I don't think I'm going to do my arms but I'm wanting to do my stomach and inner thighs.

That is great! One of my friends had a tummy tuck and breast lift last year, she was always thin but after 4 pregnancies she had a lot of extra skin. She looks totally natural and LOVES her results. The recovery was long on her stomach, she said it felt really tight and slightly uncomfortable for months, but so worth it! I think it's a great idea to wait until you reach your goal first. I plan on getting a tummy tuck after I reach goal AND maintain for at least a year.
