OK, I can tell already this morning that summer is finally coming. . I was dripping sweat after 36 mins on the bike, yeah, I pushed myself, but the humidity is up and it's supposed to get to 90 in Bmore today. . .

I always make sure to have a bottle of water(2 cups), have a fan on the bike, but am wondering if I should spring for an AC for the exercise room. . or if that would negate anything?

Sorry for the stupid questions LOL Just wanting to make sure I can make it the safest I can.

Water water water. Also if you are exercising outside, SPF 50 and a cap.

In that case, wear the minimum you can, sweat wicking clothes, and drink a lot!

I struggle to exercise once it gets past about 28 centigrade. You need to add on around 10 degrees (again centigrade) to the actual temperature to get the perceived temperature when you are exercising.

No need for the AC, I think. People workout outside all the time and they are fine. You have your answer and are doing the right thing. Be sure to hydrate. That also means pre-hydrate to make your heart work more efficiently during exercise. Have plenty of water while you work out and after. And, though I am not a fan of Gatorade or those types of sports drinks. In the summer I would encourage using them to replace electrolytes lost during perspiration (which we do more in heat).
