Hey there everyone!! I was just planning out my goals for June, when I realized...I don't know quite where I wanna go with my fitness goals yet?! Right now I do 90-120 minutes of cardio/week, and about 90 minutes of strength/week. This seems so "fit-in" well with my schedule but I would like to challenge myself a little bit in June and see what I CAN do!! My plan so far is to combine cardio and strength togethor so I can get more of BOTH!! (JM 30day shred, boot camp, and cardio yoga burn)

So my questions to everyone out there...How many days of strength and cardio do you get each week? And do you know of any good cardio-strength combos that I may wanna try??

Thanks!

Well, the mother of all strength/cardio programs is P90X but that's about 3 hours of lifting a week. CHAlean Extreme is another program with less time committment.

I've been going to the gym 4-5 days a week. I start with 5 minute cardio warm up, then go into lifting weights for 30-45 minutes. One day I do arms and chest, the next day legs and core, alternating each day. After that I go back and do 30 minutes of cardio. I used to hate doing cardio, but now I mix it up and add resistance every few minutes and try to beat the previous day's calorie burn.

I workout 6 days a week. I do am and pm workouts M-F, 30 day shred in the am, and C25k M, W, F, and an 30min uphill walk on Tues. Thurs, and an hour walk in Sat. I also do abs on T, TH, Sat. And I will start more strength training on T, Th, sat. It sounds like a lot, but it isn't.

Well as you know I do the P90X....it changes up everyday of the week with a rest/day or stretch day... ...so it exercises a lot of muscles & keeps the body guessing...90 day program:smile:
