Please, some good ab exercises or videos. Especially ones I can fine On Demand on Exercise TV. I am breast feeding and finding it hard to lose weight but I've come to terms with the fact that I'm just not going to lose much weight until after I'm done breastfeeding. But I do need to lose some inches in my stomach. I am a flight attendant and NEED to fit into my uniform better so I'm thinking some ab exercises to add to my cardio can help tighten those muscles (I've had 2 kids in 2 years! Yikes!!)
TIA!
TIA!

I've never had a baby so I don't know what exercises are best for you. However, I've heard that breastfeeding can help you lose weight.0

Power yoga and Pilates.
Search on about.com and come up with a workout that works for you. Put on your favorite tunes, and grab a yoga mat.
Also, you can't spot target a fat zone (unfortunately).
A flat belly starts in the kitchen!

Hey, I hear ya on the 2 kids in 2 years thing! I had 3 kids in under 2 years (first pregnancy was twins)... I've always found leg lifts helpful (where you lay on your back with your hands to the side tucked under your rear and lift both legs in the air, put them down, but lift them back up again before they touch the ground). That works your lower abs... regular crunches are good for the upper abs and if you twist slightly when you are coming up from a normal cruch, that will work your sides and help love handles.0

I've sky+ The Big Workout and Elise Lindsay's High & Low impact aerobics on Fitness TV. Not done them yet but they look really easy to follow and i'll definitely be giving them a shot. :-)0

Supposedly.. lol. I did some reading and apparently 1 in 5 women have trouble losing weight while bfing... And I am one of them I guess. My son is 5 months old now and I am barely losing a lb a month. sometimes 2.. it's pretty pathetic. I am losing more inches than weight. I'm ok with inches gone I just need it gone it my stomach.. not just my thighs and butt like I'm losing now ...0 -

I just finished up breastfeeding a few months back and it seemed no matter what I did to try and lose weight I could not get the scale to budge. I exercised and used MFP and nothing worked! It was so incredibly frustrating. And its really frustrating that other women you know that breastfeed just lose weight without even trying. Thats not true for everyone. Right now, I have been dieting for a couple weeks, and already seeing good results. Hang in there with the breastfeeding...you are giving your baby the best and focus on eating healthy and exercising now so that you have good habits formed for when you stop. Good Luck!0

As another post suggested yoga or pilates will work your core muscles. I really like pilates. They are difficult at first, because your core is weak, but after a few weeks you can see a differences in strength and waist size.
I actually in corporate Zumba abs in to my weekly pilates core work out; it is 18 minutes of standing ab exercises and if done correctly you will feel the burn. Just remember to suck in your tummy when doing ab exercises!0 -
sit ups work for me... and alot of stretching type excercises help too--like sitting on floor with your legs in a v and reaching out to each foot, switching sides, etc and then once your use to it, using right hand to touch left food and left hand to touch right foot twists ur abs and such; then moving feet togehter and reaching straight out in front... you can do this while ur watching tv, listening to music, etc, you dont need special videos... I also lay on floor on my side with my legs straight and left the top leg 20time up as far as i can, switch sides and do the other leg, and laying flat on my back and lifting legs up helps abs and butt... put on some music and "Dance" in an areabic fashion, twisting ur stomach alot more than you normally would with dancing, and gettin low and doing some 80's move like putting one leg out in front of the other in lunge type position, and just haivng fun with doing funny looking moves and during past pace beats you coud jog to the beat as fast as u can, or pretend like your playing air guitar and doing big circle motions with ur arm, be crazy, lol.0

It's good to hear I'm not alone. Some of my family members keep asking why I'm not losing more and why they can't see a difference. I tell them it must be the breastfeeding because nothing else makes sense. Then I did some reading and found that not everyone loses weight breastfeeding like everyone tells you you will. False hopes on my part! I thought it would help me .. especially since a good friend of mine had major issues staying below 170 before getting pregnant. She gained like 60 lbs and got up to 230ish while pregnant and hardly exercised but breast fed and lot all the weight plus 25 extra ... It's like having her baby "fixed" her bodys' metabolism problems lol. I have been thinking long and hard about continuing bfing or quitting to lose more weight and I decided to keep breastfeeding (I actually exclusively pump) and I don't expect the ab work to do miracles but even just a few inches gone would help sooo much!0 -
