Hey everyone!! I was craving some Starbucks and I'm on my way to talking myself out of going or just going there and just getting some brewed tea, but I was looking online and saw that they have nutrition site where they have nutritional info and you can see how much a drink has with the different kinds of milk, with or without whipped cream....kinda neat....

Also, I didn't know that the Vivianno smoothies have whey protein in them....they had the ingredients on there.....hope this helps someone fight the Starbucks craving or at least keep it from doing as much damage.....

heres the website...

If you go to the women's health magazine website they have an article on the 20 worst drinks. Starbucks is in there I think twice if I remember. Makes me feel guilty all those times that I indulged there!

black coffee is almost no calories

load it up with some whole milk, carmel sauce, sugar and whipped cream and it is another story

    +1 for coffee flavored coffee

I do like a bit of cream and stevia in mine, though.

Yes, I was very, very, very sad when I had to give up my Starbucks. I still can not justify the calories even with the skim milk (which I prefer), no whip. So, black coffee it is with artificial sweetener when I get the craving.

I love their oatmeal. I treat myself to it once or twice a week to that, no white chocolate moch though. Boo hoo.

The smoothie has 10 g of added protien and then the 1% milk has 8% in itself. So it is why I get it (here in Ontario) I get the Banana Chocolate one (250 cals)
It is an option when I have very little time! Maybe once in a while. But I usually make my own protien drink at home :)

    Everything in moderation :) Right....

Like anything, there is a huge variation based on what you choose. Starbucks will put whipped cream on anything if you ask - even your brewed tea. I (rarely) get a tall non-fat caramel machiato for 120 cal and consider it a dessert. It was already in the food data base.

    Yesterday I went and got:

Iced Grande (decaf) SKINNY Caramel Macchiato (130 calories)

    It was FABULOUS!!!!

I have lost 60 lbs since having my son, and I have decaf Starbucks like 3 times a week...as long as you don't go over calories for the day and get something under 200 calories, Starbucks is a great option!!! :)

on the uk website they have a huge pdf file for food and drinks, I like it as I have learn't a few "choices" that are better than most
so when I meet with friends in London, I know I don't have to go over my cals by mistake.

I drink decaf skinny latte without sugar which isn't too bad, but I got caught out with the fruit bread having 100 more cals than the rocky road chocolate thing (not that i like it, but frustrating none the less!)
  • They also have the info inside most starbucks. Saved my life last time I almost ordered my normal venti caramel frapp but then opted to get a grande skinny caramel frapp
