Babywearing and walking?

Does this burn any extra calories? vs walking or walking and pushing a stroller?
The only option I could find was carrying a 15lb load but my son is 10lbs over that.

Bump. I run with my 17 lb son in the jog stroller and would love to know some of this.0

I would go with the carrying a 10 pound load. I would rather underestimate.0

Apparently not a lot of opinions out there on this? For babywearing, I think it would be like doing the workout weighing more than you do - could you go to a calculator like this one:
http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/burned/calories_burned_Carrying_infant_or_15_lb_load_e_g_suitcase_level_ground_or_downstairs.html
And increase the amount of your own weight to add up with the load to the total weight of the child you are carrying.
As for the stroller...one time my mom tried to convince me that walking while pushing a child in a stroller was easier because you could lean on the stroller. Uh, sorry mom, no. That being said, I'm not sure how much it actually increases calorie burn to be pushing a stroller. They have an estimator here, though it does not take the weight of the child into account: http://www.fitday.com/webfit/burned/calories_burned_Walking.html
I am not satisifed with this one because it doesn't actually take into account the speed you are walking (or even running). Carrying the child does not add more than a few calories per hour, so even though it is not easy to walk or run while pushing a stroller, I don't know that I'd worry about getting those extra calories logged.
P.S. Nice job, mamas, including your kids in your fitness activities!0
